Tobs Seek Concession Cook

Wilson Tobs News Release


Wilson Tobs Baseball is looking for skilled Cooks to prepare concession food according to our game day menu. You will cook multiple products and meats that will delight our fans during our games in a fast & efficient manner. Our cooks must be able to follow instructions in grilling, large orders, and communication. Experience in cooking with a full grill of different meats without under/over cooking each item is key. The goal is to help preserve and enhance our reputation so we can deliver our fans delicious ballpark food as quickly as possible.

Responsibilities:

Setting up workstations with all needed ingredients and cooking equipment

Preparing ingredients and products to use in cooking (chopping, grilling, deep frying)

Cooking food on the grill and deep fryer

Check food while cooking

Keep a sanitized and orderly environment in the kitchen

Ensure all food and other items are stored properly

Check quality of ingredients

Monitor and place orders when there are shortages

Requirements:

Experience in grilling and deep frying

Experience in using cutting tools and cookware

Ability to follow all sanitation procedures

Ability to work as a team

Very good communication skills

Good physical condition

The Wilson Tobs home opener, Band Jam, and Firework Show for the 2020 season is Sunday, May 24 @ 6:15 PM. The 2nd Firework Show of the season will be Thursday, July 2 @ 6:15 PM and a 3rd fireworks show is TBA.
