Tobs Hosting Two Opening Nights

WILSON, N.C., May 5, 2015 - The Wilson Tobs are celebrating the beginning of summer, by hosting not just one opening night, but two opening nights.

Sunday, May 24 marks the beginning of another exciting summer of Tobs baseball when the Tobs host the Fuquay-Varina Twins sponsored by Thomas Law Attorneys and Brewmasters. Immediately following the game will be the first postgame Firework Extravaganza.

Gates will open at 5 p.m. with first pitch at 6:05 p.m.

Then the Tobs will open the Coastal Plain League campaign with another bang by hosting the Inaugural Superhero Night.

On Tuesday, May 26, anybody (kids and adults) dressed up as their favorite superhero or Tobs player, gets free admission and entry into a costume contest. Kids can also participate in the Trick or Trunk Line to receive free candy and goodies from Tobs marketing partners. The Tobs will also wear special edition super hero jerseys when they take on the Peninsula Pilots at 7:05 p.m.

"Super Hero Night wouldn't be possible without our partners," general manager Thomas Webb said. "On behalf of the Tobs organization I want to personally thank them for their support."
