Tobs Hold Preseason Pink Jersey Sale

Wilson, N.C - The Wilson Tobs are holding their Annual Pink Jersey Sale during the preseason this year in support of Breast Cancer Research and the Relay for Life event in Wilson County. In past years the Pink Jersey auction has been held during the Paint the Park Pink Night at Fleming Stadium, but this year they are being sold prior to the season to benefit the Relay for Life event. All pink jersey proceeds will benefit breast cancer research and Relay for Life.
The Tobs Pink Jersey sale will run all the way up until May 10th and jerseys can be bought for $100.00 each. Relay for life is a fundraiser and awareness campaign for the American Cancer Society. Each year, more than 4 million people in over 20 countries raise funds and awareness to save lives from cancer. Wilson Counties Relay for Life event will be held on Friday, May 13th.
Players at the Paint the Park Pink Night will wear the jerseys that are bought by individuals on Thursday, July 21st. Players will present the jerseys to those who purchased them following the game for signatures and pictures. Wilson Medical Center and Greenlight will be giving away special pink night items in support of breast cancer awareness. During the pregame ceremony the Tobs will be honoring the survivors as well as doing an item release to acknowledge those in fight against cancer.
Those who purchase a pink jersey will have the option to select which player they want, but this comes on a first come first serve basis. In order to purchase a jersey please contact the office by May 10th or as soon as possible at 252-291-8627.
The Wilson Tobs home opener for the 2016 season is Sunday, May 29th. This night will include pregame band performance by Men with Faces and postgame Fireworks. Tickets are on sale now and can be purchased by calling (252) 291-8627, or by visiting www.wilsontobs.com/tickets.
