Tobs COVID-19 Measures to Remain in Place

Wilson Tobs News Release


Wilson, N.C. - The Wilson Tobs Baseball Club, summer collegiate baseball team, in cooperation with the North Carolina government and health officials, will continue enforcing its previously laid out policies as the state extends its phase two COVID-19 response.

Historic Fleming Stadium and Wilson Tobs home games will remain closed to the general public until otherwise stated. Wilson Tobs baseball games will continue to occur throughout phase two.

The 2020 schedule has changed in response to this phase extension. These changes were made to reduce travel for our players to limit the risk of exposure. The only home game date that will be cancelled is Wednesday July 22 against the High Point Locos. Wilson has added two additional home games on Sunday July 19 and Saturday August 15. See attached schedule for all changes.

The only persons allowed in the ballpark for home games during phase two are still competing teams, staff and select individuals. All persons entering Historic Fleming Stadium are required to wear a face mask covering their nose and mouth to gain entry per government regulation. Anyone arriving without their own personal mask is provided a disposable mask. Social distancing guidelines as put forth by the Center for Disease Control are strictly enforced. Hand sanitation stations are located throughout the ballpark.

Tobs' games are available to view online through a paid subscription service at cplbaseball.tv. Three subscription plans are available for purchase:

- Single Game Pass - $5

- Team Pass (single team, home games only) - $49

- League Wide Pass (all games, all teams, all season) - $79

Games are available to stream on Apple TV, Amazon Fire and Android TV. New subscribers will need to sign up for their subscription through cplbaseball.tv first before using the aforementioned services. All Tobs' home games are also available on Greenlight TV at no additional charge (basic channel 2, digital channel 86-1900, HD channel 900). The Tobs pregame show starts 15 minutes prior to first pitch.
