Torrington Titans News Release
Paul McDonough had two extra base hits, helping the Old Orchard Beach Raging Tide (12-23) to a 5-2 victory over the Torrington Titans (18-17) on Thursday at Fuessenich Park.
He singled in the first inning, homered in the third innings, and doubled in the fifth inning.
The Old Orchard Beach Raging Tide relied on Brian OKeefe to eat up innings en route to the win. OKeefe allowed two earned runs, six hits and three walks while striking out five over seven innings of work.
Zachary LaRosa ended up on the wrong side of the pitching decision, charged with his second loss of the year. He lasted just five innings, walked three, struck out one, and allowed four runs.
McDonough, Kyle Mendenhall and Aaron Wilson helped lead the Old Orchard Beach Raging Tide. They combined for eight hits and three RBIs.
