ORLANDO, Fla. (Mar. 17) -- Orlando's strong showing last week in a pair of wins earned some accolades today from the National Lacrosse League when goaltender Matt Vinc was named Defensive Player of the Week and forward Jordan Hall was named Transition Player of the Week.

Vinc, earned his second Defensive POW for the 2010 season. He stopped 43 of 50 shots in an 11-9 win over Philadelphia and came back one day later and stopped 47 of 51 shots - allowing a season-low four goals - in Orlando's 9-4 road win over Rochester.

Hall tallied 12 points on offense for the Titans, scoring three goals and adding nine assists in the two wins. His totals included a second-point night against Rochester, where he had a hand in seven of the team's nine goals. Hall also scooped up nine loose balls in the two games.

In other awards handed out, Buffalo's John Tavares was named Offensive and Overall Player of the Week. Tavares scored seven goals and added four assists in a pair of games, including the game-winning goals in a pair of overtime contests.
