
Titans Make the Most of 6 Hits in 3-1 Victory over Bristol Blues

The Torrington Titans (3-2) and the Bristol Blues (4-1) each put runners in scoring position on Tuesday, but the Torrington Titans capitalized on more RBI opportunities, pulling out a 3-1 win at Fuessenich Park.
Mike DeMartino racked up three RBIs on two hits for the Torrington Titans. He singled in the fourth inning and doubled in the sixth inning.
John Mormile was effective even in defeat, mowing down five the Torrington Titans batters and allowing three runs.
Kenny McLean improved to 1-0 on the year by picking up the win for the Torrington Titans. He allowed one run over six innings. He struck out one, walked five and surrendered six hits.
Mormile ended up on the wrong side of the pitching decision, charged with his first loss of the year.
