PORTLAND, Ore. - Portland Timbers forward Tega Ikoba has been named to the 2023 U.S. Pan American Team that will compete at the Pan American Games Santiago 2023 from Oct. 20 to Nov. 5 in Santiago, Chile, the U.S. Olympic & Paralympic Committee announced.
Ikoba has made six career MLS appearances, scoring one goal in 104 minutes played. At the MLS NEXT Pro level, Ikoba has appeared in 34 matches for T2, recording six goals.
Ikoba signed a Homegrown Player contract with the Timbers in 2022 after playing one collegiate season at the University of North Carolina (2021), where he tallied a team-best 6 goals and 2 assists in 19 games played (10 starts), earning ACC All-Freshman Team honors.
