
LA Galaxy Defender Mauricio Cuevas Named to 2023 U.S. Pan American Team

LOS ANGELES - LA Galaxy defender Mauricio Cuevas has been named to the 2023 U.S. Pan American Team that will compete at the Pan American Games Santiago 2023 from Oct. 20-Nov. 5 in Santiago, Chile, the U.S. Olympic & Paralympic Committee announced.
Cuevas, 20, has logged 332 minutes in seven appearances (4 starts) across all competitions during the 2023 campaign. The LA Galaxy Academy product was acquired from Belgian Pro League side Club Brugge KV on April 26, 2023. The Los Angeles, Calif., native played two seasons for LA Galaxy II (2019-20) in the USL Championship, recording four goals and five assists in 21 matches played (21 starts) across all competitions.
Next up, the LA Galaxy play host to Real Salt Lake at Dignity Health Sports Park on Saturday, Oct. 14. The match on Oct. 14 kicks off at 7:30 p.m. PT and will be broadcasted free on Apple TV.
