
Timbers Defender Jorge Moreira Undergoes Successful Meniscectomy Procedure

PORTLAND, Ore. - The Portland Timbers announced today that defender Jorge Moreira has undergone arthroscopic knee surgery in his left knee for a meniscectomy.
Moreira has appeared in 32 matches (31 starts), tallying two goals and four assists across all competitions over two seasons for the club.
Moreira will conduct his rehabilitation with the Timbers sports medicine staff at Providence Park and at the Providence Sports Care Center. He will be available for selection in approximately four weeks.
