
Tim Wallace Signed To Two-Year NHL Deal

WILKES-BARRE, PA - The Pittsburgh Penguins have signed right wing Tim Wallace to a two-year, NHL entry level contract, it was announced on Tuesday.
Wallace, 22, split the past season between the Wilkes-Barre/Scranton Penguins (AHL) and Wheeling Nailers (ECHL). The Anchorage, Alaska native recorded 14 points (5+9) in 32 games with the Penguins and 17 points (6+11) in 19 games with the Nailers.
Wallace also appeared in 11 postseason games with the Penguins, recording two points (1+1) and two penalty minutes.
Originally signed by the AHL Penguins as a free agent on October 6, 2006, Wallace played four seasons with the University of Notre Dame Fighting Irish, recording 59 points (25+34) in 153 career games.
