LAKEWOOD, N.J. - Tim Gradoville, a BlueClaws catcher in 2003 and 2004, has been added to the lineup for Tuesday's Phillies Winter Tour. Gradoville, who retired from playing after the 2008 season, was named Phillies Bullpen Instructor in November.

He joins Phillies pitcher and 2005 BlueClaw JA Happ, 2009 BlueClaws manager Dusty Wathan, hitting coach Greg Legg, Phillies Assistant General Managers Chuck LaMar and Scott Proefrock, and Phillies broadcaster, and Brick native, Tom McCarthy at this year's Winter Tour. Fans attending the event can get a free photo taken with the World Series trophy.

"We're very excited Tim can join us at the Winter Tour," said BlueClaws General Manager Geoff Brown. "It's always great to be able to bring back one of our most popular former players."

The event is on Tuesday at Woodlake Country Club, and tickets are $34.95 per person for the three-course dinner that includes a free picture with the World Series trophy. For more information, or to reserve seats, please call Lisa Carone at 732-901-7000 ext 192.

Gradoville spent most of a seven-year minor league career with the Phillies organization. He played the majority of 2008 with Frisco, the Double-A affiliate of the Texas Rangers, before finishing the year with Lehigh Valley in the Phillies organization. He hit .210 in 1,174 career minor league at-bats.

This year's event will benefit local charitable organizations including the Salvation Army of Ocean County, Ocean County YMCA, Big Brothers Big Sisters of Ocean County, the Jersey Coast Chapter of the American Red Cross, Parents of Autistic Children (POAC), and the Jersey Shore Council of Boy Scouts.
