
Tigers Open Five-Game Homestand Wednesday

NORWICH, CT - The Connecticut Tigers will begin a five-game homestand on Wednesday night at Dodd Stadium with the first game of a three-game series with the Vermont Lake Monsters. The Tigers will finish the homestand with a two-game weekend series on Saturday and Sunday with the Lowell Spinners.
The homestand starts on Wednesday night against the Vermont Lake Monsters, Class A affiliate of the Oakland Athletics, with Grand Slam Family Pack night, where a family of four can purchase
four Reserved Seats, four Hot Dogs, four Sodas, and a box of popcorn for $40! (A $55 value). The series with Vermont will continue on Thursday night with the first Thirsty Thursday of the season, where fans will have the opportunity to buy 2$ Bud and Bud Light drafts.
Friday night will be jam packed with fun events throughout the evening. Starting with a pre-game blood drive brought to you by the American Red Cross and concluding with a post-game standup comedy act presented by COMIX at Foxwoods, as well as an Atlas PyroVision fireworks display presented by Lawrence and Memorial Hospital.
The Tigers will then begin a two-game weekend series with the Lowell Spinners, Class A affiliate of the Boston Red Sox, on Saturday night. Saturday is Lowe's Night at the ballpark, where the first 1,000 fans will receive a Lowe's/Connecticut Tigers rally towel.

The homestand will conclude on Sunday afternoon with Sunday Funday. Bring your glove for "Have A Catch" presented by Dick's Sporting Goods. Each child will receive a baseball compliments of Dick's Sporting Goods to "Have A Catch" in the outfield at Dodd Stadium! Stick around after the game for Kids Run The Bases presented by Ben & Jerry's. All children will be given the opportunity to take a lap around the bases and receive a special coupon for ice cream at Ben & Jerry's as their reward!
Also on Sunday, come to the ballpark to see Damian Brantley, a tribute performer portraying the late great Michael Jackson, who will sing the national anthem and do a meet and greet with fans. Brantley is part of Foxwoods "Legends in Concert" show that opens on July 1.
All games, with the exception of Sunday afternoon's 1:05 PM start time, will be a 7:05 PM first pitch.
