The Medicine Hat Tigers organization is deeply saddened to learn of the passing of former Alternate Captain Dean McArthur.
Dean was a member of the Tigers from 1981 to 1983. Tiger fans will remember Dean as being one of the best body checkers in the league. During his time in the Western Hockey League McArthur would play 138 games, registering 31 goals and adding 34 assists to go along with 195 penalty minutes. Dean will always be remembered as an incredible athlete and a stubborn, tough, hard working and loving man.
Our deepest condolences go out to Dean's entire family.
