
Tiger-Cats Sign Wide Receiver Sumpter

The Hamilton Tiger-Cats announced Wednesday the football club has signed international wide receiver Justin Sumpter.
Sumpter, 22, signed as an undrafted free agent with the National Football League's Los Angeles Rams April 30, 2019 and was waived May 16. He played in 43 games over four seasons (2015-18) at Kennesaw State University registering 111 receptions for 1,989 yards and 21 receiving touchdowns. The 6-4, 217-pound native of Austell, Georgia led the Owls in receptions all four years he played, en route to being named to the First-Team All-Big South as a wide receiver following his sophomore, junior and senior seasons.
The Tiger-Cats also announced the following player has been released:
