Tickets on Sale, Promo Schedule Released & Job Fair

With the 2011 season opener just 37 days away, the Peoria Chiefs have announced that single game tickets go on sale Saturday, March 5 at 10:00 a.m. Fans that come down to the stadium will get a voucher for a free ticket to any home game before May 12 for every regular price ticket they buy at the Box Office between 10:00 a.m. and 2:00 p.m. Fans can also buy any Chiefs merchandise in the team store for 50 % off the regular sales price.

Chiefs Announce 2011 Promo Schedule with Thirsty Thursdays

The Peoria Chiefs have announced their It All Starts Here! promotional schedule for the upcoming 2011 season which includes some old fan favorites along with some exciting new additions and the return of Thirsty Thursdays.

The Chiefs have partnered with Professional Sports Catering, an experienced Minor League Food & Beverage company new to Peoria, to engineer the return of Thirsty Thursdays after a five year absence. Fans can purchase 16 ounce domestic draft beers for $2 and regular sodas for $2 at every Thursday home game, except the 11:00 a.m. game on May 19, starting with the season opener on April 7. The Thirsty Thursdays will be presented in rotation by Sully's and Kelleher's along with Baumgarten Distributing and Brewer's Distributing. On alternating Thursdays, Sully's and Kelleher's will be the official pre and post-game site for Thirsty Thursdays.

Among the popular events returning to the promotional schedule again in 2011 is Jimmy Buffett Night on Saturday, August 6 which features a specialty jersey to be auctioned during and after the game to benefit Pediatric Resource Center, a post-game Fireworks show and a post-game concert. Also back this season is King of Pop Night on Friday, June 10 featuring an appearance by Breakin B Boy McCoy, a post-game Fireworks show and concert by Who's Bad, a nationally renowned Michael Jackson cover band. Another returning entertainment act is the Dueling Pianos Night on Saturday, June 11 which features two performers from Jive and Wail in St. Louis entertaining throughout the game, during the Fireworks and in a post-game concert. The ZOOperstars!, a Minor League favorite, will perform twice on Friday, May 20 and Friday July 15. Lincoln Brewster will perform following the game and Fireworks on Friday, June 24 for the annual Faith And Family Night presented by 91.5 WCIC. Star Wars Night returns on Saturday, May 7 with appearances by famous characters from the six films, clips, music and much more including a post-game Fireworks show. PSC to Hold Second Job Fair at on Saturday, March 5

Professional Sports Catering will host a second job fair on Saturday, March 5, 2011 from 11:00 am to 2:00 pm to staff multiple positions for the upcoming Peoria Chiefs season.

Available positions include: General Concessions positions, Game Day Managers, Cash Operations, General Catering positions, Kitchen positions and Stadium Vendors. Read More

Pack the Place Event March 12

As a fan of the Peoria Chiefs you have the opportunity to get involved in Project Pack the Place this year. It is a community campaign designed to increase community pride and boost our regional economy. Last year it had quite a positive impact on our region with over 1500 people participating in various events.

You are asked to purchase a block of tickets to attend three different community events this year with the Peoria Ballet, Peoria Chiefs and Peoria Zoo. The first event is March 12th when the Peoria Ballet ‚¬â„¢s performance of Romeo and Juliet at Five Points Washington. Tickets are $24 for adults and $14 for children. You must purchase a block of 10 tickets to be a part of Project Pack the Place. Each ticket includes a Pack the Place T-shirt and a special invite to a meet and greet reception with the choreographer and cast immediately following the performance (Reception includes beverages and light hors d'Å"uvres). The Peoria Chiefs will be participating in this project on May 22nd so mark your calendars now and get ready for a great time. More details will be coming regarding the special offers for Project Pack the Place attendees!
