JOB FAIR TOMORROW NIGHT, MARCH 3
With the weather getting warmer and spring training underway, the Quad a-vxd]Cities River Bandits a-vxd]are getting ready for another season at Modern Woodmen Park.
If you're looking for some part-time work in a fun and fast-paced environment, then swing by the River Bandits' job fair on the suite level at Modern Woodmen Park tomorrow night, Thursday, March 3rd, from 5-8 p.m. The Bandits are looking for friendly and outgoing individuals who love to havefun, provide great guest service, and have a desire to work in Minor League Baseball. Both the River Bandits and the team's food and beverage partner, Professional Sports Catering, are searching for qualified individuals to fill vital roles during the upcoming 2011 season. Positions are available for a variety of skill sets, including concessions, guest services, suite level wait staff, bartenders, ushers, ticket takers, ticket sellers, and baseball operations employees. Anyone interested in working for the Quad Cities River Bandits is encouraged to come to Modern Woodmen Park and apply!
TALENT SEARCH, MARCH 5
Don't miss your chance to become a part of the River Bandits' gameday entertainment this summer at Modern Woodmen Park! The Bandits are holding their annual talent search this Saturday, March 5th, at 10:00 a.m. at the ballpark. The River Bandits are looking to dig into the talent pool of the Quad Cities region to find extraordinary acts to entertain fans prior to and during games at Modern Woodmen Park this season, including National Anthem singers.
Talents can include singing, dancing, juggling, magic, sword swallowing, snake charming, as well as any other unique talents. Tryouts will take place outside (weather permitting) at Modern Woodmen Park from 10 a.m. - 2 p.m on Saturday, March 5. Registration is first come, first serve.
Everyone participating will perform their talent in front of our panel of celebrity judges. Those talented enough to entertain crowds at River Bandits games this summer will be included in the show during the 2011 season.
OPEN HOUSE, MARCH 5!
Along with the Talent Search, Modern Woodmen Park will also be open tothe general public for an open house. Fans are encouraged to stop in to find out more information about ticket plans for the upcoming season, talk to representatives about ballpark improvements and get the latest merchandise for the new season. Fans can also check out the park and all of the behind-the-scenes areas on a guided tour led by a knowledgable River Bandits representative.
