
Tickets for the WNBA Canada Game to Go on Sale on International Women's Day, March 8

The WNBA today announced that tickets for the first WNBA Canada Game will go on general sale on Wed. March 8 through Ticketmaster.com. The first preseason WNBA game to be held in Canada will feature the Minnesota Lynx playing the Chicago Sky in the league's third-ever international game in Toronto at the Scotiabank Arena on Sat., May 13, 2023.
In advance of tickets going on general sale, fans can register to be notified of presale ticket access at WNBA.com.
International Women's Day (March 8) is a global day celebrating the social, economic, cultural, and political achievements of women. The 2023 campaign theme is Embrace Equity, marking a call to action for accelerating women's equality. The WNBA will promote and celebrate International Women's Day across the league's digital platforms.
Chicago, which won the WNBA championship in 2021, reached the semifinals of the WNBA Playoffs presented by Google this past season. The Sky also advanced to the Championship Game of the 2022 WNBA Commissioner's Cup presented by Coinbase.
The Lynx franchise, which won four WNBA championships from 2011 through 2017, made 11 consecutive playoff appearances beginning in 2011
