Tickets for the Shock preseason game on sale tmw

February 5, 2009: Spokane, WA: Earlier this week, the Spokane Shock announced that they will host a preseason game against the Arkansas Twisters on March 18th. Tickets for the game will go on sale tomorrow, February 6th, starting at 10 AM through TicketsWest to the general public. Tickets can be purchased online (www.ticketswest.com), in person (at any TicketsWest outlet) or by phone (509 325-SEAT).

Ticket prices for this special preseason game are as follows: $25 (front row), $15 (premium sideline and club sideline), $12 (Army Strong Foxhole and lower level sideline), $8 (lower level endzone) and $6 (upper level - all sections). Kickoff is set for 7 PM.

Season tickets for the regular season are on sale now and can be purchased by calling 509 242- 7462 today. The Shock will kickoff the regular season on April 3rd at the Spokane Arena on Spokane Tribe Field.

BACKGROUNDER: The Twisters are led by former Spokane Shock Head Coach Chris Siegfried and Quarterback Kyle Rowley who were instrumental in bringing the ArenaCup Championship to Spokane in 2006.

Last season, the Twisters posted an 11-5 record during the regular season and reached the Divisional round of the postseason before falling to the Central Valley Coyotes. Rowley was named the 2008 Schutt Offensive Player of the Year after he completed 68% of his passes (379/557) for 4,393 yards and 89 touchdowns. He finished the year second in the af2 in touchdown passes, completion percentage and passing yards.

This will be only the third all-time meeting between the Shock and the Twisters. In their last meeting, the Shock defeated the Twisters 48-30 in the Conference Championship to advance to the 2006 ArenaCup.
