
2009 Thunder home games to air on MyYTV

BOARDMAN, OH. - The Mahoning Valley Thunder is pleased to announce that all eight 2009 Thunder home games will be broadcast on the Valley's new home for local sports, MyYTV. Beginning with the home opener on Friday, March 27th, each game will air on tape delay as part of MyYTV's "Thunder Game of the Week". Handling the broadcast duties are Chad Krispinsky and Ralph Sandy.
Krispinsky currently serves as a sports reporter/anchor for 27 First News Sports. Chad has held this role since January of 2005. In addition to his 27 First News Sports work, Chad also performs play-by-play duties for the High School Football and Basketball Game of the Week as well as all of the action for the YSU Football, Men's and Women's Basketball, and Mahoning Valley Scrappers Game of the Week. Krispinsky graduated from Ohio University before earning a Masters Degree from Kent State University. Chad currently lives in Austintown.
Sandy has been a part of Game of the Week broadcasts since 2003, serving as a color commentator. A Youngstown State University graduate, Sandy went on to earn his Master's Degree from Ashland University in 2002. Sandy is currently employed as a Social Studies teacher at the Mahoning County Career and Technical Center in Canfield. Ralph currently resides in Poland with his wife Heather and two sons Ralph Jr. and Avery.
Both Krispinsky and Sandy handled the Thunder Game of the Week broadcasts in Mahoning Valley's inaugural season in 2007.
