(NASHUA, NH, May 29, 2007) The Nashua Pride regretfully announce that due to visa complications that forced Rich Garces to be late entering the United States, tonight's giveaway of El Guapo Posters are unavailable at this time.

Coupons will be given to the first 2,000 fans that will be redeemable starting on June 9th, 2007 at either Historic Holman Stadium or at Hometown Laundry the Official Dry Cleaner of the Nashua Pride.

So far this season Rich Garces has compiled a 0.00 ERA. In two innings pitched he has allowed one hit and struck out one. In a ten-year Major League career, the Venezuelan native compiled a 23-10 record with 296 strikeouts, 3.74 ERA, seven saves, 164 walks and 341.1 IP in 287 games.

Garces pitched for the Águilas del Zulia in the Venezuelan Professional Winter Baseball League (2006-2007) and finished 3-1 with 23 SO, 2.31 ERA, 11 saves and 23.1 IP in 24 games. The team finished second in the western division and third in the playoffs.

The Nashua Pride Professional Baseball Club, entering its tenth anniversary season, provides a fun, affordable, community-based and fan-friendly source of sports entertainment.
