Tickets for Bank of the Commonwealth Classic to go on sale Saturday, March 14

NORFOLK, VA - The Norfolk Tides announced that tickets for the Bank of the Commonwealth Classic featuring the Baltimore Orioles and the Washington Nationals on Friday, April 3 at 3:30 p.m. will go on sale Saturday, March 14 at 10:00 am. Tickets will be $27.50 for box seats and $25.00 for reserved seats, and there is a purchase limit of four tickets per person.
A guaranteed number of tickets will be on sale at Harbor Park that day, and a specified number will be available online and at Ticketmaster outlets. Those numbers will be announced on Monday, March 9.
Fans purchasing tickets at Harbor Park on March 14 will be issued a number at one of four ticket windows. A number will ensure that fan's place in line, regardless of whether or not they continue to stay at Harbor Park. However, fans must be in line when tickets go on sale or they will lose their assigned spot.
All fans attending the Bank of the Commonwealth Classic will receive a complimentary souvenir program, complete with full-color pictures of the Orioles and Nationals, courtesy of Bank of the Commonwealth.
The Tides open their 2009 season on April 9, with the home opener scheduled for Monday, April 20 vs. the Charlotte Knights.
