Ticats Add Liam Mahoney to Practice Roster

Hamilton, Ontario - The Hamilton Tiger-Cats announced today that non-import receiver Liam Mahoney has signed a practice roster agreement with the team.
Mahoney, a 6-1, 207-pound native of Lachine, Quebec, attended training camp with the Winnipeg Blue Bombers last month after they selected him in the sixth round (41st overall) of the 2011 CFL Canadian Draft. During his CIS career at Concordia, Mahoney caught 94 passes for 1,208 yards and 10 touchdowns in two seasons as a receiver after converting from quarterback.
The Ticats also announced that the team has released non-import receiver Rory Kohlert.
