Thunderstick and Toros T-Shirt Giveaways Highlight Second Homestand

The Tucson Padres second homestand begins Thursday, April 25 at 7:05 pm. The Padres are playing well on the field, having won six of their last seven games. The Padres opponent, the Colorado Springs Sky Sox, will travel to Tucson after their last two home games were cancelled because of extreme cold and snow.

Here is a game-by-game list of the upcoming promotions at Kino Stadium:

THURSDAY, APRIL 25 (7:05 pm) BUDWEISER THIRSTY THURSDAY presented by KMSB Fox 11, K-HIT, La Poderosa, and the Tucson Weekly - the 12oz Budweiser, Bud Light, and Coca-Cola products will go on sale for only $1.00 when the gates open at 6:00 pm. $2.50 16oz craft beers - Odell and Barrio Breweries. All college students will be admitted for $4.00 with a school ID. The beer special ends at 9:00. Designated drivers will get a wristband for complimentary soft drinks.

FRIDAY, APRIL 26 (7:05 pm) PADRES THUNDERSTICKS GIVEAWAY, presented by CURACAO and Univision - The first 2,000 fans through the gates with paid admission will receive a free set of inflatable Tucson Padres Thundersticks, compliments of Curacao! Gates open at 6:00 pm.

SATURDAY, APRIL 27 (7:05 pm) TUCSON TOROS T-SHIRT GIVEAWAY presented by 94.9 MIX FM and ESPN 1490 The Fan/TUCSON CONQUISTADORES CAR GIVEAWAY - The first 2,000 adults, 17 and older, with paid admission will receive a free Tucson Toros Throwback T-shirt; gates open at 6:00 pm. The Tucson Padres plan to celebrate the 43 years of Triple-A baseball in Tucson with numerous promotions throughout the season! SUNDAY, APRIL 28 (1:05 pm) CHASE MILITARY APPRECIATION DAY / BARK IN THE PARK presented by KIIM FM - All military personnel (active, retired and veterans) and a guest will be admitted for FREE with military ID compliments of Chase. The military ID will be presented at the Padres Box Office. Dogs will also be admitted free with their owners with the first 500 dogs receiving a free Frisbee, courtesy of PointGuardU.com. Fans may sit on the berms or in their seats with their four-legged friends. The Humane Society of Southern Arizona and Pima Animal Care Center will be featuring adoptable dogs throughout the game. The Bark in the Park promotion will apply at all Padres Sunday home games.
