Lakeland ThunderBolts News Release

LAKELAND, FL, DECEMBER 8, 2006: Larry Kendrick, a defensive back for the Lakeland ThunderBolts last season, has signed with the Philadelphia Soul. Kendrick played in just seven games, but was a major contributor to the ThunderBolts leading the league in total defense. Kendrick had an impressive four interceptions, eleven pass breakups and 18 tackles. He is the fourth player from last season's 13-3 Atlantic South Division Championship team to sign with the Arena Football League, AFL.

Head Coach Teddy Keaton said, "Larry was a good team player who worked hard to improve his skills. It was his hard work and dedication to the game that allowed him to move up to the AFL. I hate to have a good player leave the ThunderBolts organization but it is the coaching staff's job to help develop and improve the player's abilities so they can further their career and take it to the next level".

Kendrick joined the ThunderBolts after finishing his college career at The University of Mississippi.

The ThunderBolts kick off their home opener on Sunday, February 25, 2007 at the Lakeland Center, at 5pm. Season tickets are on sale now, contact the ThunderBolts office at 863-688-THOR(8467)or visit the ThunderBolts online at www.lakelandthunderbolts.com.
