Thunderbirds Holding Mardi Gras Party, Thirsty Thursday Next Week

ALBUQUERQUE, NM, Feb. 17, 2010 - The Albuquerque Thunderbirds will return home next week when the team hosts the Idaho Stampede for a pair of games at Tingley Coliseum. The T-Birds will play on Thursday, Feb. 25, and Friday, Feb. 26, with both games beginning at 7 pm.

The T-Birds will be holding their second Thirsty Thursday night of the season on Feb. 25. Fans can enjoy $2.50 beers and $5 margaritas in addition to $5 box seats during the team's game against the Stampede.

The two teams will meet again on Friday night during the Thunderbirds' Mardi Gras Party presented by Dairy Queen. The T-Birds will be wearing New Orleans Hornets jerseys during the game, and will be bringing some of the Bourbon Street Mardi Gras atmosphere to Tingley Coliseum. Fans will be given beads when they arrive and also have the chance to purchase game worn jerseys following the game.
