Thunderbirds, Craig Wende Agree to One-Year Deal

HALIFAX, NS - The Halifax Thunderbirds today announced that the team has signed goaltender Craig Wende to a one-year contract.
"I'm beyond excited for the opportunity to be a part of the Halifax Thunderbirds. I am very thankful for the opportunity to be a part of the culture that this team has built and I look forward to working with all my new teammates!" Wende said.
Wende, 32, has spent four seasons in the National Lacrosse League, splitting time between Rochester and Georgia.
The Kitchener, Ontario product appeared in 15 games for the Swarm last year, finishing the season with a 13.76 goals-against average and a .740 save percentage.
Across 31 career games, Wende owns a 12.97 GAA and a .766 SV%.
