
Thunderbirds and Dazzle complete trade

GREENVILLE, S.C., January 3 - The Roanoke Dazzle and the Albuquerque Thunderbirds have completed the first trade of the 2005-06 NBA Development League season with the Dazzle sending center Andreas Glyniadakis to the Thunderbirds for forward Bryant Matthews.
Glyniadakis, a 7-0, 280-pound center from Greece, played in 15 games (10 starts) for the Dazzle, averaging 17.9 minutes, 7.6 points and 3.8 rebounds. Matthews, who played collegiately at Virginia Tech, played in 12 games (six starts) for the T-Birds, averaging 27.2 minutes, 13.2 points and 6.1 rebounds.
Both players are expected to be in uniform for their new teams on Friday when Roanoke travels to Fayetteville and Albuquerque visits Fort Worth.
