
Thunder over Louisville at Lynn Family Stadium Returns for 2023

Lynn Family Stadium and its parking lots will open for Thunder Over Louisville programming throughout Saturday, April 22, culminating with a picturesque view of one of the nation's largest fireworks displays.
Tickets and parking to Thunder at Lynn Family Stadium - an official Kentucky Derby Festival event - are now on sale at LynnFamilyStadium.com or by searching for the event via SeatGeek. Lots open for parking and tailgating at 6 a.m.; stadium gates open at 11 a.m.; and there's no hurry to beat the traffic after the show with Louisville's pro soccer teams set to feature on the stadium's video board past midnight.
Lynn Family Stadium guests will receive a wristband allowing for reentry to the building. All tickets include access to restrooms and a number of family friendly games and activities at no extra charge. The facility's full array of food and beverage offerings are expected to be on sale.
With all tickets general admission, guests are permitted to move throughout Lynn Family Stadium to scope out the best view or re-enter after watching it elsewhere. New this year, parking lots will have premium restroom trailers available for all guest who purchased a spot for Thunder at Lynn Family Stadium.
Louisville City FC's 7:30 p.m. game at the Charleston Battery will air on the stadium video board leading up to the fireworks, which typically start at 9:30 p.m. Following the show, Racing Louisville FC's 10:30 p.m. game at Portland Thorns FC will also be broadcast in the stadium. The stadium will remain open through the Racing-Portland game.
Located in the Butchertown neighborhood, Lynn Family Stadium opened in 2020 and serves as the home of LouCity (USL Championship) and Racing Louisville FC (NWSL). Managed by ASM Global, the award-winning venue boasts amenities such as free WiFi, device charging stations and an array of premium seating options.
