Wichita Thunder News Release
Wichita, KS (June 30th) - The Wichita Thunder of the Central Hockey League, powered by Toyota, are excited to announce that the Name Your Price Ticket Promotion has been a tremendous success and are extending the deadline through Thursday, July 3rd.
For the first time ever, fans have had the option to quote what they would be willing to pay for a season ticket. So far, the team has sold 60 new season tickets in just 10 business days and plenty offers are still waiting to be approved. This extension will allow people to place their bids a few extra days, expiring on Thursday at 5 p.m. After that time-period, the offers will be contacted next week and get their opportunity to secure season tickets.
"This promotion has been a great success for us," commented Trevor Bowers, Director of Ticket Sales. "We have added many new fans and seen some season ticket holders move around a little bit and save money. We had people as far as three hours away buy a full season ticket package just because they saved so much! We thank all of our season ticket holders for all their support and look forward to growing the Wichita Thunder family."
This promotion is being offered in limited sections due to availability. Each offer that is accepted will be required to fill out a Season Ticket Agreement at the Thunder office. For questions, please contact the Thunder office at (316) 264-GOAL or email tickets@wichitathunder.com.
2014-15 season tickets are on sale now! All it takes to get started is $50 deposit per seat. Don't delay! Contact the Wichita Thunder Monday-Friday, 9 a.m.-5 p.m. at (316) 264-4625. Stay up-to-date on all the news this off-season by visiting www.wichitathunder.com.
