
Thunder Continue To Shuffle Roster

BOARDMAN, Ohio. - A day after the Thunder was involved in two separate trades; Head Coach Mike Hold made some more adjustments to his roster, the arenafootball2 League Office announced, Wednesday night.
Mahoning Valley activated FB/LB Mike Andrews (6'1, 260) from the "other league exempt list." The Thunder was also assigned OL/DL Evan Curry (6'2, 220) out of Ohio University, re-assigned QB Jeff Valentino (6'3, 200) and placed DB Marucs Walker (6'0, 185) on "refused to report."
Andrews was originally assigned to the Thunder on November 21, 2006 out of Youngstown State. He spent four seasons with the Penguins, garnering Outstanding Defensive Player of the Year team honors in 2005 after recording 70 tackles, one sack and two interceptions.
Curry is entering his rookie season in af2 while Valentino served as the backup quarterback last week before being re-assigned to the league yesterday. Walker was acquired in the trade with the Lubbock Renegades on Tuesday in exchange for TE/DL Shalom Tuimalealiifano.
