WICHITA, KS- The Wichita Thunder dropped a 2-0 decision to the Rapid City Rush on Wednesday night at the Kansas Coliseum. Rush defenseman Luke Fritshaw scored at 13:28 in the second period to break a scoreless tie. Rich Hansen added a goal 24 seconds into the third period to make it 2-0 Rapid City.

Miguel Beadury earned the shutout win, saving 21 of 21. Tim Boron took the loss for Wichita, saving 33 of 35 shots. The Thunder went 7 for 7 on the penalty kill, but 0 for 10 on the power play.

Wichita finishes its homestand on Friday when the Oklahoma City Blazers return to the Coliseum. Opening faceoff is scheduled for 7:05 p.m. For tickets, call the Thunder office at (316) 264-GOAL.
