
Thunder Announces Radio Partnership

WICHITA, KS- The Wichita Thunder introduced their 2010-11 radio partnership with Johnson Enterprises, Inc. on Thursday.
For the first time in over 10 years, fans can listen to every Thunder regular season and postseason contest live on the radio. Oldies 93.5 FM KWME will carry at least 22 games while every contest will be featured on 1550 AM KKLE. Additional games on 93.5 FM will be announced in the future. Each broadcast opens with a 20-minute pre-game show featuring interviews with Thunder players and Head Coach Kevin McClelland. Earlier this week, the Central Hockey League also announced a new partnership with NeuLion, Inc. to bring fans another year of CHL-TV. While the Thunder is on the road, fans can meet at Emerson Biggin's West (located at 21st and Maize), the team's official watch party sponsor. Various Thunder food specials and raffle prizes will be available for each game.
The 19th season of Wichita Thunder hockey begins Friday at 7:05 p.m. when the Thunder faces longtime rival Tulsa at the BOK Center.
