Nashville SC News Release
NASHVILLE - One week after a decisive 4-1 road win, Nashville Soccer Club will be trekking up to New England to take on Hartford Athletic on Sunday afternoon. Kickoff is scheduled for 2:00 p.m CT. The match is Nashville's fourth and final league road match on a lengthy road swing. While the Boys in Gold might be away from home, there will still be a fun opportunity to catch all the soccer action on Sunday with other Nashville SC fans.
Here are three things to know about Sunday's match.
1) World Cup Doubleheader Watch Party - Come out to Corner Pub Downtown on Sunday for a Club and Country Doubleheader Watch Party in partnership with Vanderbilt Women's Soccer. We'll get things started at 11:00 a.m. ct for the U.S. Women's National Team's World Cup showdown against Chile, then keep it rolling with Nashville's showdown against Hartford at 2:00 p.m. It's the perfect way to catch all of Sunday's soccer action with other Nashville SC fans. Specials will include $1 off appetizers, $4 Goalden drafts and $8 SC Teas. All Goalden Drafts and purchased soft drinks will come in a USA-themed cup.
In addition, fans will have the opportunity to purchase Nashville SC's limited edition Club and Country Scarves.
2) Five Straight Unbeaten - Nashville SC will put a five-match league unbeaten run to the test in Sunday's match against Hartford Athletic. The club extended the streak to five with a 4-1 victory over Bethlehem Steel FC last Sunday. During this five-match streak, Nashville SC has earned three wins and two draws, including two road victories. Beyond this streak, Nashville has lost just one league match since the beginning of May.
3) A Scoring Party - During Nashville SC's five-match unbeaten streak, the club has found scoring from a multitude of sources. Eight different Nashville SC players (Daniel RÃos, Alan Winn, Kharlton Belmar, Cameron Lancaster, Lebo Moloto, Ken Tribbett, Ropapa Mensah and Kosuke Kimura) have scored a goal during this run. Even though he has not found the back of the net in the last two matches, RÃos is tied for first place in the Eastern Conference in goals.
