Denver Outlaws News Release

DENVER - Goalie Jesse Schwartzman, defenseman Lee Zink and midfielder Drew Snider were selected to the U.S. National Lacrosse Team's 30-man roster.

The 30 players will convene again June 22 at a location to be determined as they prepare for the 2014 MLL All-Star Game on June 26. They will then hold one final training camp July 6-9 in Colorado Springs before the FIL World Championship. The roster will be trimmed down to 25 or 26 (23-man roster plus two or three alternates) just in time for the World Championship which begins in Denver on July 10.

"I can't say enough good things about all of the guys who have been a part of this process," said Team USA Head Coach Richie Meade in a statement. "Both the guys who are continuing on and the ones who aren't have been incredible on and off the field since we started working on this process a year and a half ago. You could make a good case for each of them to be on this list, but we are really excited about the group we've put together. We're ready to move from the evaluation phase into the preparation phase as we look ahead to Denver."

The Outlaws' three selections tied for second most of any Major League Lacrosse team.

Season tickets for the Denver Outlaws are now available and include seven home games. Call 303-OUTLAWS to place your order.
