Three Nationally Televised Games For Stingrays

Ft. MYERS, FL. - The American Indoor Football Association's (AIFA) expansion team in Fort Myers, the Florida Stingrays, announced today that they will have at least 3 of their 14 regular season games during their innagural 2008 season televised nationally including their second home game on Saturday, April 5th, 2008 vs. the Mississippi Mudcats.

Other nationally televised dates include clashes on the road May 3 versus the Carolina Speed and June 11 vs. the Fayetteville Guard. The Stingrays will have an opportunity to get 3 additional games televised nationally if they are able to get to the AIFA Championship Bowl II on July 19, 2008 as planned.

VP Of Operations Jay Lawrence, " This is a huge opportunity for our community, our players, and our organization to receive some positive national exposure. If we can reach our first goal of winning our division and earn home field advantage throughout the playoffs, we're talking about having 3 nationally televised games right here in S.W. Florida. How exciting is that?".

On September 17, 2007 The American Indoor Football Association (AIFA) Principals John Morris and Michael Mink announced the league has signed a three-year national television broadcast, mobile phone broadcast, and Web cast licensing agreement with Simply 4Me Incorporated (http://www.simplyme.tv). Simply 4Me Inc. is paying the AIFA $2.5 million dollars for the exclusive media and publishing rights.

Simply Me TV will nationally broadcast to 50 television affiliate markets from Anaheim, Calif. to Baltimore, Md. The broadcast consist of one game per week during the AIFA's 14 game schedule, to include playoffs and a July 2008 championship game.
