OMAHA, NE. - The Omaha Lancers of the United States Hockey League (USHL) are proud to announce that three Rookie Lancers from the 2023-24 roster made the NHL Central Scouting Final Rankings. Up from two players last season.
Mikhail Yegorov, 18, of Moscow, Russia grabbed the fourth ranked North American Goaltender spot in January during the Central Scouting Midterm Rankings, but improved his spot during the second half of the season has he acquired the top spot among goaltenders in North America.
In his rookie season in the USHL, Yegorov played in 43 out of 62 games, gathering a 3.86 goals against average and a 0.892 save percentage and one shutout with Omaha coming in a 2-0 win over the Lincoln Stars on November 25th, 2023. Making him one of 15 qualified goalies in the league to record a shutout on the year, and only one of three rookies to do so. Out of his 43 games played, the Boston University Commit racked 2,117 total minutes of time-on-ice, leading rookies and came in sixth overall within all netminders. Along with being one of just two goaltenders with a perfect shootout percentage on the season.
Kam Hendrickson, 18, of Chanhassen, Minnesota joined the Lancers in late March after a stellar season at Chanhassen High in his hometown. While playing for his school, Hendrickson had himself the best season of his career, pulling out a 1.01 goals against average, a 0.951 save percentage and seven shutouts through 29 games played.
