
Three Kansas City Current Players Called up During FIFA International Window

KANSAS CITY - Kansas City Current defenders Stine Ballisager Pedersen (Denmark), Lauren (Brazil) and midfielder Debinha (Brazil) have all been called to represent their nation in international play during the upcoming FIFA window.
Ballisager and her Danish teammates continue through the leagues stage of the UEFA Women's Nations League tournament with Denmark traveling to Iceland Friday, October 27 at 1:30 p.m. CT and then hosting Wales Tuesday, October 31 at 12 p.m. CT. The Danes currently lead their group with two wins and no losses. Ballisager headlines the defensive backline that has only given up a single goal in the tournament so far.
2023 NWSL MVP Finalist Debinha and her Kansas City teammate Lauren will represent Brazil for a pair of friendly matches in Canada over the break. Brazil will look to jump ahead in the series between these two nations as they are currently evenly matched with 10 wins, 10 losses and nine draws since 1996. The first match in the series takes place Saturday, October 28 at 1:30 p.m. CT from Montreal. The second leg of the series heads to Halifax Tuesday, October 31 at 6:30 p.m. CT.
