Three Houston Dash Players Called up to Canada Roster for Pair of Friendlies against Australia

The Dash trio of Nichelle Prince, Sophie Schmidt and Allysha Chapman will join the Canadian Women's National Team in Australia for a pair of friendlies against the Matildas on Friday, Sept. 2 and Tuesday, Sept. 6.
Australia will host Canada at Suncorp Stadium in Brisbane, Australia on Friday, Sept. 2. Kickoff is slated for 11:45 p.m. CDT. A few days later, the two teams will face off again at Allianz Stadium in Sydney, Australia. Kickoff is scheduled for 4:40 a.m. CDT.
Canada returns to international action for the first time since qualifying for the 2023 FIFA Women's World Cup with a second place finish in the CONCACAF Women's Championship. Schmidt and Chapman both scored a goal in the tournament, contributing to the team's success in Monterrey. The Dash trio will join the national team following the Dash's Aug. 27 match against the Washington Spirit at PNC Stadium.
The Houston Dash will host the Washington Spirit on Saturday, Aug. 27. The match will be streamed on Paramount+ and on Twitch for international viewers. Fans can buy tickets here.
