Three Hailstorm Players Earn All-USL League One Honors

WINDSOR, Colo. - After an historic season that saw them earn 62 points and win their first-ever playoff match, Northern Colorado Hailstorm FC have had three players named in the USL League One All-League teams.

Defender Arthur Rogers has been named in the USL League One All-League First Team for the second consecutive season. Rogers built on his all-league performance in 2022 with an even stronger season in 2023. He broke his own single-season record for chances created with 88 in 2023 and tied the league's single-season record with 11 assists, earning him the league's Golden Playmaker award.

Rogers was especially effective on set pieces in 2023, recording nine of his 11 assists from them. He also scored his only goal of the season direct from a free kick against Lexington on September 6. In addition to his contributions to the attack, Rogers was also among Hailstorm's team leaders in clearances (51), interceptions (26), and tackles won (42).

Joining Rogers in the All-League First Team is forward Trevor Amann. Amann won the league's Golden Boot with 23 regular season goals, also breaking the USL League One single-season record, which was previously 18 by Richmond's Emiliano Terzaghi in 2021.

Amann's 23 goals this season were not just the most in USL League One, but the most by any player in American professional soccer in 2023.

The goals came in bunches for Amann this season as he scored seven braces in the regular season along with a playoff hat trick. He also added a trio of assists, giving him 26 goal contributions on the season. In addition to his All-League nod, Amann was also Hailstorm's first-ever USL League One Player of the Month in May.

Hailstorm's league-best defense also has a representative on the USL League One All-League Second Team in Bruno Rendon. In his first season in Northern Colorado, Rendon scored five goals and added three assists. He also led the team in interceptions (29), tackles won (46), and duels won (188).

In addition to the All-League teams, the USL League One individual award finalists will be announced later this week with individual award winners announced next week.
