Three Fireworks Shows Added to 2015 Schedule

Moosic, Pa. - What could possibly make baseball more fun? Post-game explosions in the sky can accomplish that. Add another three such sights to the 2015 docket for the Scranton/Wilkes-Barre RailRiders (Triple-A/New York Yankees). The addition of post-game fireworks shows on June 13, July 25 and Aug. 22, all Saturday nights, have brought the team's season-long total up to a franchise-record 17.

"We are excited to expand upon our fantastic promotional schedule with three more fireworks dates," said interim general manager Jeremy Ruby. "This adds three more sensational shows to our already jam-packed 2015 season."

Two five-game ticket packages can help fans enjoy the fireworks shows:

Plan A

Friday, May 22 - Boy Scout Night/Outdoors Night, Fireworks

Friday, June 26 - Girl Scout Night/Friends and Family Night, Fireworks

Friday, July 24 - Christmas in July, Fireworks

Friday, July 31 - Princess & Pirate Night, Fireworks

Saturday, Aug. 22 - Breast Cancer Awareness Night, Jersey Giveaway (sponsored by PNC), Fireworks

Plan B

Saturday, June 13 - Friends and Family Night, Derek Jeter Bobblehead (sponsored by Allied), Fireworks

Saturday, July 4 - Friends and Family Night, Lotto Ticket Giveaway (18+), Fireworks (sponsored by PA Lottery)

Saturday, July 25 - Military Night, Military Jersey Backpack Giveaway (sponsored by MetLife), Fireworks

Friday, Aug. 21 - Superhero Night, Mr. Incrediball Mask Giveaway, Fireworks

Friday, Aug. 28 - Friends and Family Night, Fireworks, last Lehigh Valley game of season

The deal for these five-game plans runs through April 9. The breakdown for the plans includes:

- Purchase a $35 package (bleachers or lawn) and receive $10 back in loaded value ($2 per ticket per game, must be used on the original ticket date)

- Purchase a $45 package (field reserved) and receive $20 back in loaded value ($4 per ticket per game, must be used on the original ticket date)

- A fantastic 14-game package for each of the team's April home dates is also available. The package includes three fireworks dates in the season's opening month.

* For the month of April, the fans who attend the highest percentage of games will be entered into a raffle.

* Once the names have been drawn, the lucky fans will be contacted by the RailRiders and must attend a TBD May game in order to receive their prize. Prizes consist of:

o A cruise on Norwegian Cruise Lines

o New York Yankee Tickets (four tickets for an agreed-upon game)

o Watch a RailRiders game in the bullpen

o Meet-and-greet before the Legends Game

o Meet-and-greet with any upcoming attending celebrities
