
Three Added to Huskies Roster

Duluth Huskies News Release
The Duluth Huskies announce the additions of RHP Ben Humbert (Minnesota), RHP Alex Ferguson (Minnesota - Duluth), and OF Daniel Gardner (San Diego) to the 2016 roster.
Ben Humbert, an International Falls, MN native, is currently with the Golden Gophers. Humbert graduated from International Falls High School and was named the 2014 Arrowhead Conference Athlete of the Year. During his high school career, he also earned all-conference, team MVP, and News Tribune All-Area team honors.
Alex Ferguson is currently competing in his sophomore season with Minnesota - Duluth. The Woodstock, IL native made 13 appearances for the Bulldogs including 1 start. Ferguson struck out 22 batters over 25.2 innings of work while maintaining an ERA of 3.86. In high school, Alex was named Second Team All-Area by Northwest Herald.
Daniel Gardner, a Fresno, CA native, is currently competing with San Diego as a junior. The outfielder has appeared in 56 games including 50 starts. Gardner has held a .296 batting average while hitting 13 doubles and collecting 34 RBIs. Before San Diego, Daniel played two seasons at Fresno City College.
