Thorns FC Announce Broadcast Schedule for 2022 NWSL Challenge Cup

PORTLAND, Ore. - The National Women's Soccer League (NWSL) today announced broadcast details for the 2022 NWSL Challenge Cup. All six of Portland's matches in the group stage will be broadcast on Paramount+. Additionally, the club's road match against Angel City FC on April 24, originally scheduled for 5 p.m. (Pacific), will now kick off at 6 p.m. (Pacific).

Individual tickets for the 2022 NWSL Challenge Cup go on sale today at 10 a.m. (Pacific) online at www.thornsfc.com. Fans interested in purchasing Thorns FC Annual Memberships for the 2022 season are encouraged to call the ticket office at (503) 553-5555 or email ticketsales@thornsfc.com.

The tournament will feature three matches on CBS, including the Championship match. All three of those matches will also stream on Paramount+. Four contests will air on CBS Sports Network, and all other matches will stream exclusively on Paramount+ in the U.S. Additionally, all Challenge Cup matches will be available to stream internationally on Twitch.

The Challenge Cup will feature three regional groups of four teams, playing double round-robin matches. The top team from each group will advance to the semifinals on Wednesday, May 4, with the championship match set for Saturday, May 7.
