SAVE SPECIAL:
Force goalkeeper Jim Larkin stopped 36 of 43 shots for a .837 save percentage. Jim allowed a season-low one goal on Friday versus the Chicago Storm and proceeded to hold them scoreless for the last 58 minutes of the game. On Sunday, he allowed one goal in the first half and continued to hold the scoreless streak for 25 minutes before surrendering the score. Larkin posted his 2,000th career save on his ninth save in Sunday's loss.
HATS OFF:
Force defender John Ball recorded his first and the team's first hat trick of the season on Friday night versus the Storm. Ball had a season-best three goals and a team-high three points in the game.
FORCE GOING TO THE EXTREME:
Jim Larkin and dance team members Allison and Melissa C. will be guests of Slats on 92.3 Extreme Radio on Wednesday, January 12. The interview will air at 5:00 p.m. and will cover the season and the upcoming games.
SUMMER CAMP IS NEAR:
Cleveland Force 2005 Summer Camps are now in full swing with seven locations in the Greater Cleveland area already solidified. Please visit the Force Website Summer Camp Section to find a summer camp location near you. Anyone registering during the month of January will receive a 10% discount off your registration. Tuition for the summer camps is $155 for a full day session that runs from 9-3 and $115 for a half-day session that runs from 9-12. Each camper will receive a soccer ball, t-shirt, a goodie bag and one ticket to Camper Reunion Night at a Force game during the 2005-06 season. Locations will be added weekly so register, as space is limited.
