
Theresa Plaisance Named Player of the Week

Wings forward Theresa Plaisance was named Overseas Player of the Week for Jan. 16-23.
Plaisance logged back-to-back double-doubles in outings for Shaanxi of the Women's Chinese Basketball Association (WCBA). She dropped 32 points and pulled down 22 rebounds on Jan. 16 and tallied 28 points while snagging 17 rebounds and dishing a season-high six assists on Jan. 19.
The 32 points she scored in the first jaunt are the second-most she's scored in a single game this season in the WCBA.
Plaisance and Shaanxi currently ride a seven-game win streak heading into the playoffs.
