Huntsville, AL - The Wicks Family Field at Joe Davis Stadium, the home of Huntsville City Football Club, has been nominated for the 2023 SportsTravel Award for Best New or Renovated Sports Venue. The stadium is one of six venues nominated for the award.

Voting is available here and runs through Sept. 8. The winner of the award will be announced at TEAMS '23 in the Palm Beaches of Florida from Oct. 4, 2023, at 10:45 a.m. CT.

The Wicks Family Field at Joe Davis Stadium, the previous home of Minor League Baseball's Huntsville Stars, is the only venue nominated for the award that previously and currently hosts different professional sports. The stadium, which can hold more than 6,000 fans, currently hosts Huntsville City FC, and will soon host high school football and other events. Those interested in hosting their next event at the stadium can make a request here.

The next chance fans can visit the Wicks Family Field at Joe Davis Stadium is this Sunday, Aug. 27 when Huntsville City FC hosts Inter Miami II at 6 p.m. CT. Tickets for the match can be purchased here.
