The Town FC News Release
The Town, CA - The Town FC is thrilled to announce a groundbreaking partnership with the leading non-profit organization Soccer Without Borders (SWB). This innovative collaboration kicks off next week on June 5th at The Soccer Tournament (TST) in Cary, North Carolina, where The Town FC will sport custom jerseys including the Soccer Without Borders logo on the front. In addition, we are proud to announce that James Ulysses, a youth participant from SWB Oakland, has been invited to join The Town FC's TST team, showcasing the outstanding young people hailing from the SWB community.
During the tournament, The Town FC will not only be competing but will also be raising awareness for SWB, highlighting our shared commitment to building a vibrant community built to empower young people through soccer. Make your tax-deductible contribution here. This is just one example of how The Town FC will support SWB's mission to use soccer as a vehicle for positive change, providing underserved children and youth with soccer programs that foster inclusive communities both on and off the field.
The Town FC has a mission to be at the forefront of driving positive impact through sport. Through this partnership, not only will The Town FC contribute monetary support, but it will also shine a light on the crucial work done by Soccer Without Borders by integrating their brand across various digital channels and prominently featuring them during match days throughout the 2024-2025 seasons.
"The Town FC is proud to partner with Soccer Without Borders, an organization that aligns with our core values and dedication to uplifting communities through the power of soccer," said Benno Nagel, CEO of The Town FC. "This partnership is more than a marketing relationship; it's a pledge to make a lasting difference in the lives of youth across the globe."
Soccer Without Borders operates international programs that focus on building a more inclusive world through the universally loved sport of soccer. Their efforts are directed toward helping young people to overcome obstacles to growth, inclusion, and personal success.
"We're thrilled to partner with The Town FC, a commitment that aligns with SWB's mission to support newcomer immigrant youth through soccer," said Eric Cortez Senior Coordinator for SWB.
This partnership sets a new precedent in how sports entities can engage in social advocacy and community development. We hope you'll be inspired to support SWB and make a tax deductible donation today!
