Nick Lamberti collected three hits, sparking the Torrington Titans (15-22) to a 2-1 victory over the Marthas Vineyard Sharks (17-21) on Tuesday at Vineyard Baseball Park. He singled in the second, fifth, and ninth innings. Chris Enns picked up the win for the Torrington Titans. Enns allowed no earned runs, five hits and two walks while striking out two over six innings of work. Despite the loss, the Marthas Vineyard Sharks' Mac Curran dominated the Torrington Titans' batters, giving up zero runs and striking out five. Dylan Grove ended up on the wrong side of the pitching decision, charged with his second loss of the year. He lasted just six innings, walked one, struck out eight, and allowed two runs.
