
The Syracuse Crunch and Crunch Foundation Continue Partnership

Syracuse, NY - The Syracuse Crunch and Crunch Foundation will continue to support Hillside Family of Agencies with programs that bring awareness and monetary support throughout the 2013-14 season.
The Crunch will continue consistent fundraising for Hillside Family of Agencies with the "Power Play Goals for Hillside" and "Hillside Prize Wheel" programs. Each power-play goal the Crunch score at home will be celebrated with a $10 donation from the Crunch Foundation to Hillside Family of Agencies through the "Power-play Goal for Hillside" program. As the presenting sponsor of the Crunch Foundation Prize Wheel, Hillside Family of Agencies will receive the proceeds from the wheel on the following game dates Oct. 12, Nov. 15, Nov. 23, Dec. 6, Dec. 7, Jan. 11, Jan. 24, Feb. 8, March 8, and March 28 (subject to change).
The Crunch will also host their annual Hillside Family of Agencies Special Santa Gift Drive game on Saturday, November 23 when the Crunch take on the Hamilton Bulldogs. Another Hillside Family of Agencies 'Lend a Hand' event will be held on a to be determined Crunch home game.
Having celebrated its 175th anniversary in 2012, Hillside Family of Agencies is one of the oldest family and youth non-profit human services organizations in Western and Central New York. The youth and family services organization provides child welfare, mental health, youth development, juvenile justice, special education, and developmental disabilities services across central and western New York and in Prince George's County, M.D. Last year, Hillside Family of Agencies provided services to more than 10,000 youth and families in need.

The Crunch kick-off the 2013-14 season with a visit to the Binghamton Senators on Oct. 5 followed by their SUNY Upstate Medical University home opener on Oct. 12 against the Rochester Americans.
