The Manitoba Moose (26-38-7-0) are currently 2nd in the Canadian Division with 59 points... The Moose defeated the Maple Leafs Sunday past by a score of 5-2... The Maple Leafs lead the season series against Manitoba with a 3-2-0-0 record... Manitoba is ranked 13th in the AHL while on the powerplay at 16.3% and are 24th overall while killing penalties at 81%... Right winger Pat Kavanagh has the hot hand for the Moose tallying nine points (4G,5A) in his last 10 games. Kavanagh has 22 points (12G,10A) in 50 games this season... The 9th Annual St. John's Maple Leafs Wives Charity Carnival is fast approaching. Last year's carnival raised over $30,000 for local charities. Join the Maple Leafs players, their wives and staff in games of chance and a day filled with interactive fun from 1-5 pm on Sunday, March 2.

The 9th Annual St. John's Maple Leafs Wives Charity Carnival is scheduled for this Sunday, March 2 from 1-5pm. Last year's carnival raised $35,000 for local charities.

The St. John's Maple Leafs take on the visiting Syracuse Crunch next Friday & Saturday, March 7th & 8th. St. John's will be looking for the series sweep. The Maple Leafs won both games in Syracuse this season outscoring the Crunch 9-2.
